WASHINGTON, DC (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A new report from a national non-profit on housing costs in metropolitan areas shows Ohio experienced the biggest drop in home ownership affordability between 2020 and 2025.
The National Housing Conference says where 67% of residents in those metros could afford a house with a ten-percent down payment in 2020, that number fell to 26% last year.
Mansfield and Cleveland showed the biggest affordability declines.
