CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Canton Civil Service Commission is hosting its first-ever Career Fair Tuesday October 27 from 2 to 5 at the Memorial Civic Center.
And it’s not just jobs with the city.
Over 70 employers will be on hand, some willing to interview on the spot.
Employers other than city departments include those in manufacturing, health care, finance and more.
And you don’t have to pre-register to attend.
It’s a free event, including the parking.
Civil Service Assistant Director Anna Moeglin says “dress to impress”, bring a resume and perhaps a notebook and pen.
